I am playing with the evolution of the traditional Asian art cloud motif and other similar primitives. I see a path for these ubiquitous motifs of antiquity to find their place in the modern transcultural zeitgeist. As these clouds organically evolve in both shape and arrangement, which traditional themes carry forward, which are lost, and how do they reflect Asian art’s influence on the global mindshare?
